COVID-19 Refund policy (Travel 2020-2021)
After the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, we were forced to close our business as the schools closed. Our refund policy states that we will not issue refunds after 28th February under any circumstances.
We have put this policy in place to allow some compensation for customers if travel is cancelled again by further COVID-19 complications in the future.
At the end of the academic year (09/07/2021), customers will now be able to apply for compensation for any travel lost due to COVID-19.
We will offer a refund of £10 per full week of travel cancelled. This refund can be taken as a refund or used as a discount to the following year’s travel.
The 28th February deadline will NOT be applied in this offer.
Cancellations/closures will only apply to a FULL school closure either by the school or government. Refunds will not be offered for absence for single persons/families, year groups or closures to specific groups or bubbles.
To make a claim, customers must email the office firstname.lastname@example.org and request a refund form. The form must then be returned either by email or post to Beaver bus Ltd, Unit 84 The Whittle Ind Est, Cambridge Road, Whetstone, Leicester LE8 6LH by 31/07/2021.
Any applications for refunds submitted after this time will not be actioned. However, we may still consider applying a discount for travel for the following academic year.
